First hint AWD may be slower in a straight line

A little while back Kia revised the 0-100km/h performance number to 4.9 sec.

Kia Australia, where the Stinger GT is RWD Only, lists the revised 4.9 sec number.

But....Kia Canada, where the Stinger GT is AWD Only, is back to using the 5.1 sec. number.

Could be a typo (we have seen this before). But it could indicate that unlike other higher powered turbo V6 models (that are traction limited with RWD) the AWD Stinger just sees a weight increase and a corresponding performance decrease.

Just some food for thought while we play the waiting game.

0-100km/h is 0-62 mph and the reason why the numbers are slower ROW vs. US (which uses 0-60mph).

But the Aus and Can numbers are both 0-100km/h.
