Plenty of topics on different suppliers for different exhausts but I wanted to make a seperate topic to put together information about exhaust systems with valves that can be opened / shut rather than always being loud.
Soooooo... what are the best options for such exhausts? I have seen videos of Jun BL EVC system that sounds nice and has quite a good pricepoint even when shipping to Europe.

I think the only other out of the box bi model I've seen is the Tubi Style. Probably advantageous to Europe residents shipping wise as well. Very pricey though.

Otherwise I feel like there was mention of a butterfly valve system you could install in any exhaust system but I would have to look for it.

I just had the Xforce Varex cat back system with the smart box installed, cost me $2100 AU dollars ($1440 US) and i love it, matrix mode (opens the valves at your setting at certain rpm) , geomode (set locations and how much the vale is open at those locations, for around home etc) and using their app you can adjust it manually by sliding your thumb. or don't get the smartbox and just use the remotes to open and close the valves.

Do you have a link available for the Xforce one? Any vids available of sound? Does it suit AWD also or was it fully for RWD?
Does the smartbox go into the OBD2 port meaning that you cannot put JB4 on it? Or was that another supplier who used the OBD2 port?

Says it's for RWD, yeah smartbox goes into the OBDII but you don't need to purchase it as it comes with remotes which is what i use as i guess its a novelty using the app but you would end up using the remotes so you have the JB4 connected, i haven't taken it off full open yet to be fair :) The videos don't really do it justice, i will try take an take some audio samples with my H4n over the weekend.

I have read on here in a few places that they don't work with the JB4.
I Am testing that now because I have a valvetronic exhaust. I won’t say they work for sure yet, the splitter is working so far.

JunBL is the best at being quiet when closed.
I've heard all other exhausts and they are just less loud but sound aftermarket.

They cause malfunction. I had the RES titanium EVC (which has an OBD2 control module) before JB4 and I had to get rid of it because of that problem.

You can have the system modified so that it doesn't use the OBD2 connection (and features) but that is a route I did not try.

I think the GT-9 (with the valves closed) is as quiet as stock, but the tone is deeper. I haven’t heard JunBl in person, however.

Does the JunBl also have a clicker key fob so you don’t need to use the App and OBD2? I like the option of the App for my GT-9, but I plan to use the clicker and not have to use the obd2.

Yes there is either a remote control or a wired switch. I went for the wired switch, but many go for the remote.
It uses vacuum however, which isn't as fast as electronic actuators. The problem is that many exhausts makers that use electronic actuators feel the need to add some gimmick features with an OBD2 module.

Yeah, it’s a cool option, but not needed. I love using the clicker. It open or closes in a millisecond. Teach me: what do you mean that yours is vacuum? Also, does the remote require obd2?

Many exhausts use vacuum.

The valve actuators are mechanical and react to air pressure that is controlled by a solenoïd. The air pressure comes from the engine's vacuum line and the switch (or remote) controls the solenoïd.
There is another option where you have a little box (usually near the trunk) that receives the remote control signal and generates air pressure to control the actuators.

Oh wow. So that set up is a lot different than the GT-9 system. But they are basically doing the same thing.

I have Kunstwerk and happy. Remote standard.
