I just purchased 2022 gt1. I was told the borla s type which states 18-21 will fit my 2022 along with the ark secondary midpipes. Will the borla carbon fiber tips fit as well??

I don't think any 18-21 exhaust lines up perfectly, so my guess would be no, unless you get some custom piping ran for them. They would also look rather small on the 22s cause they have bigger factory tips than the older cars.

The Borla carbon fiber tips are a scam anyways, get aliexpress ones for way less. Plus you can find the exact size that fits your 22.

I have the Borla with the Ark down-pipes on my 2022 GT2 now. Trooperducky is correct the pipes coming off the Muffler of the borla do not line up with the holes of the 2022. The 2022 opening are much more spaced out. I am looking to have my pipes custom ran so I can finally find some tips to mount on to them. The spacing now does not allow to add tips to them. So I am driving it as is until I get it corrected. The drone is louder at lower RPM and louder when not in Sport for some reason for me. At high speeds no issues at all and they sound great


If anyone else already modified their pipes please post pics I would love to see them.

Ok someone posted on the k8stinger store that the borla was a direct fit for the 2022… so there is no way the borla tips will fit even with the bigger holes in the 2022 tips??

I am soooooo ready for an aftermarket exhaust. A few months ago someone here mentioned that they contacted Borla and were told the same thing. Borla is apparently working on a solution to 2022 exhaust systems as well with a November-ish released. Hopefully we'll see both MBRP and Borla come with something soon.

Not with the current set up no way I don't know how they would fit without the piping getting custom routed which is what I will have to do. Mine could be adjust a tad to center more but once the tip goes on it is not going to clear the holes. See pics below of stock vs borla.

no they are a little bit shorter than the stock ones were hence where some of the drone comes from. Once this is solved with tips and the exhaust get to exit all the way out the back of the car it will be the best. I got use to driving mine for now the way it is so its not bothering me to bad but I would like to to quiet the low speed in cabin other than that this is the best sounding exhaust. When I am at High Way speeds this exhaust sounds amazing.

I did purchase the ark mid pipes as well and added the injen air intakes which i love

I have the same set up. Yes I too am looking at the option of muffler shop to extend pipe and then I can figure what tip options I have.

How much additional pipe would you say. How short is each side in your opinion. If i got 3 6 inch 2.25 tubing u think that would be enough?? Or just 4 to be safe two for each side?

My guy did an excellent job centered them best they could I’m happy with the finished product…. Just need the mid pipes now lol…

Nice I've been waiting to see someone post this. So the Borla Tips don't attach to the pipes at all? The pipes just feed into them. How is the sound. Without vs with them now? I have thr Borla and Ark Down Pipes now but I need me some tips. So no modification to the pipes themselves at all?
