EPB light?

I have a ‘22 GT2 RWD. I seem to remember a red light would illuminate on the EPB after setting the car in park and me pulling up the lever? Or was it when I pushed it down? Regardless, I think there is a red light that used to illuminate. Now it’s not. Am I remembering this correctly?

My 2019 has the light come when I switch into R or D, if EPB was/is engaged

Are we referring to the parking brake light you pull up the lever for? Yeah there's a red light that displays on the dash when that's on
If you open your door when you're backing up, see if you're square on the line old school way. It'll activate that too and show it on the dash

In the 2018 and 2019 dash the EPB light is to the left of the seatbelt light at the very bottom of the gauge cluster. I presume it is the same for the entire production run. Lift up -with a single finger, that's all it takes - on the parking brake lever and the light comes on. Push down - again gently - and the light goes out. Of course, engaging "R" or "D" disengages the parking brake and the light goes out.

It does but what it does do on a My23 Stinger is it goes out very shortly after the hand brake is applied.

As a precaution I will pull the lever up on exit just to ensure the hand brake is on. The red symbol will re appear.

It probably is identical. My EPB light goes out too, and I do what you do if I doubt at all, to make sure my parking brake is applied.

So there is a red light that illuminates on the dash cluster but not on the actual lever itself?

That one on the lever is just the label....My light is in the gauge cluster on the left side
