As described in the title, EPB light turns on in amber right after I disengage the brake, and auto hold turns on in amber and won't turn off, and also the brake light is flashing. I have noticed that the rear drive EPB does not work for some reason that I don't know because when I want to engage or disengage the brake, it does not make any sound. I also checked the car with BlueDriver OBD tool and it gave me "C2416 Status:Confirmed - Motor short or open - LH Actuator Stuck".

Anyone faced the same issue? Do you think there is a fuse for this which might be blown?

Fuse - almost certainly not.

Did you replace your rear brakes recently?

Check the connector/connection + wires near the rear left parking brake actuator...

Thanks D.J for the reply.

I have not changed the brakes. I have also checked the wire and connections, all seems okay. The thing is, when I engage the emergency parking brake, the actuator does not make any sound. Also, I have checked the connector with a digital AVO meter to see if it has any signal when I engage or disengage the emergency parking brake, there was no signal.

Do you think the wire has a cut somewhere down the line? But I don't know where the wire is routed. Any ideas?

some of the nicer diagnostic OBD plugs (xtool and the like) have an EPB function to release the parking brake shoes and reset them. might want to try that first.
