The "Coasting" setting decouples the drive shaft when you let off the gas usually above a certain speed. It seems that it will disable coasting (re-couples the driveshaft) when different factors are met, like hitting the brakes, or getting below a certain speed. Also I believe there are several other factors (operating/transmission temp I believe being one), and probably a few others. I've also noticed that sometimes when it couples back up it can be pretty rough. Makes me nervous when that happens so I may wind up disabling the function.
New owner of a 2022 GT2 AWD. I've only got about 300 miles on it and I'm noticing when I slow down to turn the car "lurches" at about 10mph. I'm in sport mode. It almost feels like the car is automatically engine braking - or maybe the brakes are grabbing harder than they should? I'm wondering if anyone else notices this on their car. Another thought - maybe since it's so new the computer is learning my driving style to program the transmission correctly?
Thanks
