Just curious how often the Eibach Sway Bars, specifically the front needs to be greased? Going over speed bumps slowly, shitty roads you can hear that. Any thoughts?

lol. I recently had my two bars greased for this exact same reason, creaking over speed bumps and gutters and the like. I put up with this for years, basically since install of the front bar in 2020 it creaked, never heard the rear bar make any noise though it is way back there so maybe I just couldn't hear it, but the front bar really annoyed me. I would spray the bushings with silicone spray and that would knock the creaking way back for a few days. finally took it to a mechanic that we call our 'family mechanic' instead of kia. kia always said 'looks fine' when I asked them to check the grease on the bars. our 'family mechanic' said, 'those bars have never seen a drop of grease.' well, now, kia ...

since getting them greased they are totally silent. our 'family mechanic' said to maybe come back in after six months to make sure that they don't need another shot of grease, not because of new grease being recommended, but because after it spreads throughout the bushings they might could use some more to make sure that they are lubed up all the way.

Just had to regrease my front Eibach bar because it was creaking over speed bumps. Quick shot with the grease gun and back to silent again.

This is the second time I've done it this year, since beginning of spring. I know I've put enough because it comes out of the edges. I figured maybe once a year should be enough.

I grease my front bar when I do an oil change. Rear bar gets greased when I do a winter tire change.

When I had the eibach bars on the G, I never had to regrease 'em other than doing so during initial install. I can see if the car is getting driven in lots of wet areas. Also, use a silicone based grease as it shouldn't be dissolved as easily by water.

I often go through touchless automatic car washes with undercarriage spray, so I think that's why I have to regrease 1-2 times per year.

This makes sense. I’ve had mine installed for 18months and haven’t had any noises.
We don’t really get rain.

Are you using the stock links with the Bar or aftermarket?

Had mine on 4 years and to my knowledge they've not been greased unless they've been done during the services.
