I was a member here years ago, but thought I would jump back in after a long delay.
I have a 2022 Stinger GT-Line RWD. About four months ago, I was getting a driveline shutter, often at shifts. The dealership took it in and had it a while and even did a diagnostic drive with the car hooked to some type of telemetry. For about $12K (!!) they replaced the transmission under warranty. It was good for a few months, but now is creeping back. It was happening only at shifts, but now it's happening in gear, typically at steady-state speeds so when the gears are not really loaded up accelerating or decelerating.
Anybody faced this with your Stinger (or any other car for that matter?) Bad U-joints? Something in the rear end? Reset the Transmission Control Module? I'd like to have some better guesses for the dealer besides "it's still doing it!"
I really don't drive this car hard. I had a 2018 GT1 and I drove that car like an ignorant teenager. It never missed a beat, never complained about a thing. This car I bought because it gets much better mileage and doesn't need premium. And I drive it that way! Any input would be great.
Photo for attention.

I would turn my attention to the driveshaft center joint, the u-joint, the rear diff, and its mounts. I hope they replaced the torque converter when they replaced the transmission.

Yeah, I can try to find the work ticket. The torque converter is a forehead slap if the didn't. My dad thinks u joints as well, but coming from experience with pickups.

I have nothing additional to offer. But a question, why do you say that the 2.5L doesn't need premium gas? The owner's manual doesn't make distinctions over engine size and recommends premium fuel.

What was your millage when this started?

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...

well, this is a rear drive car, as are most pickups, so he knows what he's talking 'bout. :)
