Driver side door handle removable cap - broken tabs

Hi,
My door handle cap came off. Checked it and it seems a couple of tabs have broken off.
Last time I tried it off was probably over one year ago.
Only removed it twice in all (MY2018).

I am inclined to epoxy/super glue it into position.
I do not anticipate needing to remove it.
If I do need to remove it and it breaks, then I will look into getting the correct replacement part 82652 J5010 and get it painted to body colour.

Question: What would you do?

I don't know what part you are describing, is this the reported broken grab handle? What is a door handle "cap"?

He's probably talking about the cap that covers the key hole on the exterior handle of the car. There's someone on the FB groups everyone points to order a replacement from that will actually come pre-painted in the correct color. Sadly I can't remember who it is though.

You are right. Funny. I was "inside" the car, and OP is on the outside.

Hi all.
Sorry für my bad description.
Bfglitch identified the part (on the outside).

I ordered a replacement from my local dealer for around C$22 incl tax. Unpainted.
Will be here in 3 days.
Going to get an aerosol can of panthers Grey P2M and clear coat.
