Hi Guys,

I was lucky enough to win a Dragy through a Facebook competition and was wondering who has one and where did they mount it?

I’ll bite, what’s a Dragy...excuse my ignorance or age...lol

It's a GPS performance meter to measure 0-100, 1/4 mile times etc.

Ok thanks for the explanation & sorry have no idea where you can mount that, but enjoy it anyway. BTW are you doing C&C at the Motorplex with @AV8R on the 16th?

I only used mine a few times before returning it. But it worked fine right behind the cup holder. I never found a permanent spot for it because I didn't know if I would keep it.

Why’d you return it?

Too many hilly/curvy roads where I live. I just moved here so I thought I'd be able to find a good place to test it out close by--I was wrong.

I didn't do a permanent mounting, as I don't want to glue anything on my nice shiny new interior ... :)

I just pull mine out when I want to use it, and put it somewhere where it can see the satellites without flying around the car. The console seems to work well.

This exactly.

I have mine mounted using velcro tucked parallel to the back of the right side of the screen. Half of it is sticking out the other half behind the screen.

Thanks for your input guys. I think I'll throw it in the console and see how it goes.

So the Dragy rocked up today. It's much smaller than I thought. It actually fits snuggly into the top of the large cup holder. Went out and did a few 0-60mph runs and got a best of 4.49sec. Not bad considering only mods are custom catback and downpipes. That was with 3/4 tank of fuel and two baby seats lol. Now I need more boost haha.

I just got a dragy today and did 4, 0-60 runs. 3 of 4 didn't even register and the one that did was invalid due to one Satelite. Not impressed.
Maybe it will work next spring/summer when our Seattle clouds part. But by that time the drag strip is back open.

Where did you put it? I've mounted it behind screen on velcro. Works great. Might not be getting signal if you mount down low

Mines in the center console mounted on the bottom of the removable tray using the metal sticker mount / magnet

I had it in front of the cup holders in that tray with a lid. Then mounted on the dash behind the nav. It worked on the dash but the cloud cover cleared out as well. Satellite radio cuts out here alot so just have to test on clearer days.

I've had issues using mine in heavily wooded areas & in tight valleys. I would have thought that GPS signals would cut through cloud cover. Maybe that is yet another contributing factor to "Low Sat"
