Hi all!

First and foremost, I would like to say hi to all the Stinger fans on this forum! I have just purchased a 2020 Kia Stinger GT AWD (Canada) in ghost grey but it is still at the dealer (I have yet to pick it up).

I was looking out for good light weight wheels (below 23lb each) in black and good tires to go with it and have found out about flow formed Fast Wheels (they also work directly with Kia/Hyundai). I know this is an AWD car so the tires have to be the same height to prevent any issue for the drivetrain and transfer case. I searched up the OEM specs for the tires and wheels and know that the front tires are ever so slighlty taller when seen on paper. But that is also why the front wheels are 8" thick to stretch out the 225 width tire and I assume bring the overall tire diameter down to be equal to the rear tires.

I want to keep things more or less level while being staggered, so I settled on 18x8 +30mm Fast FC04 gloss black wheels for the front wrapped in 235 45 r18 tires (pilot sport 4s or a/s 3+) and 19x9.5 +45mm Fast FC04 gloss black with 265 35 r19 tires for the rear. The overall tire diameter should be identical (+/- a millimeter here and there) and the sidewalls should be flat with no stretching or bulging I believe.

However will having 18 and 19 inch wheels together on an AWD setup have any negative effect in any way? Also using the information given above, will such a setup cause any rubbing? I have checked with Fast Wheels and they said the 18x8 +30mm should clear the front caliper. But this is my first car and want to make sure everything is perfect. Thanks so much in advance for your input!

I'd probably avoid different sized wheels. There's a local Stinger running Fast wheels, 18's all around.

@Bauser what specs are your wheels?

I am running 18x8 +30 with 235/45r18 rubber up front and the 18x9 +40 with 265/40r18 rubber in the rear they are identical size at 26.3" OD

Howdy. I would not use different sized wheels to get the same OD. That would look very odd; different aspect ratios on the side walls.

If a pro wheel guy says a rim will clear your calipers and other fitment points then he is the one who has to stand by what he says if you buy from him. There is no way that I'd hazard this online and on my own. I'm not a tires and wheels guy.

8 in the front and 9.5 in the rear?
weird
unless you want some understeer

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
19 front and 20 rear? What kind of problems could this set up cause? I know a lot of modern cars that use different diameter wheels from factory
