I watch Dash Cam videos from around Australia every week for a while now, dash cam video is uploaded to dashcamownersaus.com.au from driver's of incidents or just bad drivers or close calls, i find it interesting to watch what happens on our roads, and in other countries as well, maybe as Stinger owners get their cars, we will install dash cams and upload video on this forum for all to see, i have a front and rear dash cam in my Holden, and it has been invaluable.
Anyway, here is a video uploaded just recently and every month a compilation video.

Unbelievable! Over here we have found that some of that nationality of people share licences! They have absolutely no respect for any laws and generally do what they want then argue about when accused. I’m sure they get their licences out of Weetie packets! If every one had to get retested every 5 years they would fail. As a pilot I get retested every 2 years and I have less chance of killing some one compared to those who drive cars. Disappointingly it’s getting worse.

I feel redeemed - there are worse drivers out there than me. Did they get their licences in a raffle? As for the woman cop how does she decompress from that? Perhaps she was in an invisible car they didn't see, you know, like wonder woman's airplane.

Been thinking about getting a dash cam but don’t know which one to get.

There are so many on the market and I want one that is reliable.

I’d like to get a small one that doesn’t take up half the windscreen.

Any suggestions appreciated.

Navman MiVue730 Full HD Dashcam with GPS Tracking
It’s very small (2” screen) and I am going to install mine with power connector to rear 12v socket running cable along top, down pillar to floor , under dash , then along centre console tucked under panel to socket. Can’t be bothered hard wiring. Mivue cams have good reviews. Also be sure not to block forward facing camera that’s built into rear view mirror as it has something to do with speed control and alerts.

I’ve had them before no complaints and they are made by Navman. My wife has the bigger one which records accidents if your hit when parked. This little one does not do that. You can view the sd card contents through a PC too. When the card gets full it over writes the old stuff.
It’s on special for,$119 so I’d grab it quick cause most cost $200+ to buy.

I support Navman dashcams also, i have a Navman Mivue 580 from a few years ago now, 2 inch screen, i beleive it has Sony night low light vision, the recordings at night are amazing clear, considering how dark it is in real life.

Where did you mount the camera? Left of mirror, right of mirror or directly under neath that big black square of tech on window? Can you post some pics?

I use BlackVue now for over 5 years, no problems, nice & compact it has wifi & Mac compatible.
