The 2.0T isn’t bad but it should be snappier feeling, compared to the Optima, I wanted it to feel more like the A5. It could be in the transmission tuning, they both feel the same but the 2.0T’s Sport mode should be the normal mode and be snappier in Sport or they could have tuned the engine for better power and performance.

It seems though that the 2.0T will be moved downstream to make way for something else on the heavier vehicles. Let’s see what the upcoming Genesis G80/90 engines will be and we will have a good idea what the Stinger will get in the future.

You are falling victim to one of the classic traps: inability to be satisfied with enough. It's a human failing, that when we experience a "level" of something, we will never enjoy something less than that level, because we will always, always be comparing what we don't have to what we know we once had/experienced. It's what makes getting old impossible for some people (Merlin, for instance). Loss creates a separation between "glass half full" and "glass half empty" people.

I am coming from a base Camry LE for 8.5 years, so maybe that's why I am ok with the 2.0T.

Yes, no doubt! Can you imagine what coming from a '94 Voyager for the last twelve years was like, going to a 3.3TT Stinger?
