Continental DWS06+

There's definitely decent AS tires that provided good enough traction and performance, but if the OP is already swapping Winters then there's no reason to not just use summer / performance tires. Seeing that staggered setups are going to run through tires quick anyways, mind as well be driving on the best you can.
Spring and Fall in Canada is unpredictable, could be freezing rain, below 5c rain, light snow randomly for 10 mins, etc. We're in spring currently and we have below 0 mornings sometimes, high of 5c, could be 20c the next day.

4 months of the year are legit warm to hot and would be great for summer tires but those other transition months would be perfect for an all season.

Well if you already have a dedicated winter set of wheels, you could go with the Conti ExtremeContact Sport tires for a bit more. I put the ECSs on last week, but have been careful not to get too crazy yet, as it still hovering around freezing most mornings and the ECSs are clearly a max summer tire. In my limited use, I'm liking them a lot and they're $50+ cheaper per corner than the Michelin PSs.

PS: the wear rating is a bit higher/longer wearing than the MPSs, I wouldn't expect much more than 20/21k vs 18k on the Michelins.
I just put mine on last night and haven't had a chance to test them. It's supposed to be 60F, dry out, and I plan to beat on them today to see how they feel. I'll report back tomorrow.

That makes more sense.

Did something go wrong with your alignment after getting the car lowered?
Camber is non-adjustable on the stinger, unfortunately. Rear can be done with the megan racing camber arms. Still no front solution. Most stingers will be at least a little out of spec after lowering.

100%, this is one of the main reasons why I got rid of the stock wheel setup and went square with good AS tires (Pilot Sport all season 4)

My bad, I thought you were saying you had excessive rear negative camber.

Sounds like you have the expected camber for your ride height.

I found some official stats online. Your story checks out.

I prefer the Northwest seasons, this is why a good UHP all season works for me. 0edc3ducf7o01.jpg.

^^But that rating is based on user's subjective reviews, not actual data. ;)

Not quite sure what your point is.

Posting a link to your 'actual data' would be helpful.

Thanks for the link, I saw that before. You'll note the graph at the top of the page that it lists it as 'Combined Subjective Rating' - subjective, just like the Tire Rack reviews.

I've read them both, and chose the DWS 06 Plus, clearly #1 with the customers. I've only had them a short time, and I'm very pleased with them so far. I do not need a UHP Summer on this car, that's what my P-cars are for and use.

db on the soapbox.…
I have personally run Continental DWS Extreme Contact tires on 2 of my vehicles. My driving is “spirited” but by no means track and/or street racing. The DWS were on an Infiniti G35 6MT and a Toyota MR2 Spyder - and both were driven in all four seasons. The tires were sure footed right down to the wear bars! The only negative I have is they were slightly noisier when worn and they never made it to the UTOG rating. Do know - I have NEVER had ANY tire make it to the so called tread wear (expected life)!
I sincerely recommend the Continental DWS tires and will most certainly purchase this tire again once my Pilot Sports are worn out! I’ve bought lots of tires in my years - and the DWS are the ones to beat in my opinion. So, before you purchase your next set of tires…. do some reading/research… consider your driving style and conditions… and spend what it takes to make you as confident as can be when you’re on the road. Remember, your tires ARE the final line between you and the pavement!
Safe travels compadre. db

Just don't feel like changing out the rubber evey 2-3yrs.

Luckily by waiting an extra week the Continentals are now 25% off and come with a rebate for $60. So for under $1K CDN it's not bad. Going to buy them now and put on the rims when I swap out to my Winters next season. In then end with the Canadiantire money I have I'll get them for free.
