My Stinger has these lights all came up and stayed on now even after i turn off the engine even after a day. It started on a month ago when it first came on but it reset after i turn the car off for a few minutes. After a few more days, it came on again and recurred even after i turn the car off. And now it just stayed on all the time constantly. When it's on, cruise control and collision warning are all disabled ;(. also lane change warning disabled ;(. traction control and abs also disabled ;(

What is the problem?? ;(

something that all those nannies and features share has gone bung. probably nothing complex to track down. when your car says 'check' something it means it.

guess i will hook up my obd2 scanner and see what i can get .... lol

Any idea?

most likely wheel speed sensor.

If the Cruise isn't working it may well be the radar up front behind that center plate in the grill.

Very annoying why they would allow that to also disable the lane blindspot warning when you have either of the system down. Why the heck would abs and traction control be disabled if your radar in front is down ;(

If it's wheelspeed sensor, i can see why abs and traction control would be down but why also blindspot warning and front collision warning being down ? ;(

The slow speed proximity function used during parking is working fine though...

The OBD scan detected no error code stored in the ECU. Go figured. It's not an engine issue i guess .lol

excellent. if you had all of your nannies turned off, and somehow you could get your check and warning icons to disappear, you'd likely never know anything was not working.

Not sure how i would be able to get the icons to disappear now ;(. When this whole thing started a few weeks ago, it would disappear once i turn the car off for a few minutes, but now it won't even do that anymore

the forward collision gets the car's speed from the wheel sensors. the blindspot warning also needs to know how fast the car is going to turn its warnings on and off. We had similar behavior on our Santa Fe and it was a wheel speed sensor.

the tire pressure monitoring still seems to work. dont you need good wheelspeed sensor for that?

^^Stinger uses direct tpms (sensor inside tire), not indirect (based on wheel speed).
Yep, it's cool to have it but i think the direct tpms is also another expensive thing that would have to be replaced down the road compared to wheelspeed sensor based, which might be a little less accurate but is a lot cheaper.

Yep I'm getting a warning too after having my rear bumper damaged in a accident, soon to be repaired PXL_20231026_151804520.webp

That’s different. That’s one or both of the radar sensors in the rear. They’re on the corners of the car behind the bumper panel.

Same thing happened to me a few days ago. I stopped at Autozone and scanned it, P2122 dtc code as a faulty/low signal/pedal sensor. I checked the pedal commander connections, unplugged then plugged back in. Turn the car on and off a few times and it hasn’t come back on since. If you have one, check your connectors. Might solve it. Hopefully. Possibly. Fingers crossed.

Went to autozone and obd scanned. nothing came up on the scanner. the connector seems to be very firmly connected. guess i have no choice but to go to dealer.

I disabled the smart cruise control but the regular cruise control wouldn't work either. Guess its really is the wheelspeed sensor?
