Geez im such a lucky guy.... Ive been passing right by these folks, and never looked over to the building they are in. Im thinking that if I don't put a clear bra on the front, and hood of the Stinger its gonna look like crap after a few rock chips because there is so much frontal area and, the chin and whatnot is what makes the car look so good...Looked up some clear bra folks, and went on my quest yesterday looking at one place, and then today found another right down the street..maybe 7 mins if that. This guy is good im thinkin with all the Teslas and Lambos in his shop. with all those high dollar cars inside the crew came out, and scoped the lil Stinger out they either were impressed or just being polite....lol....last car I had done was 2003 so I have no clue as to what a good price is? He said they will clay bar the front and hood , prep do the entire front and up to the vents in the hood, mirrors,a lil behind wheels ,and the back bumper top....for 950....deal or no deal ? Wash

I’d pay that for what you are getting.

I had a mobile service come and do it in my garage. The lady who applied it has been doing this for years, including for the dealers. She did an excellent and meticulous application job over several hours, used the latest generation Xpel film, and was a fraction of what the dealers/shops wanted for less coverage.

Might want to check if there is something similar available in your area. This is a business that really lends itself to mobile service - they get the exact patterns for the car needed, cut the bulk film on a plotter/cutter, and are ready to apply it anywhere that is convenient for the owner. And as a mobile service, their costs are a fraction of a brick and mortar PPF/tint/detailing/etc. shop.

Just need to make very sure you get somebody with very good references - there are a ton of people who get into the business at low cost, have virtually zero experience, and expect to make an early fortune ... :cautious:

950 is cheap. Mine cost 1800 for full hood, front, fenders, A pillars. Mine is Suntek with 10 year warranty.

Mine was similar price with suntek for same coverage.

I would recommend FULL hood however. I can already see rock impacts on mine further back than the vents but do live in AZ so they are much more prevalent.

That is a good price. As others have said, If you can swing it, do the entire front end.

I had my bumper, entire hood, both full fenders, mirrors, headlights, a-pillars completed in Expel Ultimate for $1,800.00. It has proven to be sooooo very worth the investment!

Yall satisfied with how they prepped the paint before wrapping? Im sure they clayed and smoothed out the paint before applying the clear .....Wash

I can't say because I did my own prep. I'm obsessive with my detailing. My wife refers to my cars as my mistresses, lol.

I worked stone guard into the deal of my car and the dealer had "a guy" they use all the time a does good work. Apparently "good" is a very subjective measure of quality. The worst looking part of my car is all of what they touched. I might complain upon the first oil change since it's fully guaranteed, but we'll see. It's not terrible, but I've been detailing my cars for years and I wouldn't consider their prep any acceptable level of quality.

My PPF is full frontal to the back of the fenders and full hood. Similar price. So that is my answer.

Hi Everyone Well we got a lil barter going on to film wrap the lil red stinger....The handshake on Friday and then the work begins.
So ive left them alone all the weekend and then late today I went over. The car was up in the air bout four feet on a scissor jack so he could do the bottom very easily. He was working on the front of the car that had all those intricate curves. I looked at the hood and fenders and couldn't believe how smooth everything was....He sez we havnt filmed that yet...its just been clayed....WOW.....that is some labor intensive work right there. going for the entire front end, full hood, lower rocker panels, rear, door handles, mirrors.plastic A frames.and parts of rear....ought to be done by late tomorrow.
Had a conversation with him about soft paint on our cars.....he sez the car companies are getting away from solvent based painting and this new paint procedure suks...he sez if we we think ours is soft take a look at Audis ....a guy brought one in with 70 miles on it and it had 14 chips on the front....Yikes :) Wash

In Saint Louis area, I just got two quotes for wrap on the bumper, hood and fenders plus ceramic coat including the wheels for $2900 and other other quote was for $3050.

Good price. I would suggest adding the wrap to the mirrors, too. And, If you have any of the black chrome, it is a MUST!. Not only does it protect the black chrome, it will always be mirror shiny.
