Hi,

Curious if anyone has tips for cleaning sunscreen that gets on leather car seats and door panels. I don't have any issues with my car personally, but my wife's car has several spots. And I have noticed with sunscreen that if you don't get it off quickly it can lead to staining on leather seats. Does anyone have good experiences with clean stained seats from sunscreen?

There are some you tube vids on the subject. Try searching suncscreen removal from car interior. OCDetailing's tip is to use diluted car polish containing some abrasives on the interior door panels and leather seats too.

My GF was on a zinc sunscreen kick, stained the passenger seat leather quite a bit. Used mild dish soap and plastic soft brush to get most of it out. Once dried, promptly conditioned the leather. Asked her to not use that shit anymore if we were taking my car.

If my wife put a sunscreen, I put a towel on the seat haha.
