Chemical Guys Products

Does anyone have any experience using Chemical Guys products? I just purchased the non water wash, leather cleaner and interior cleaner spray. I have heard positive things but have never used them before.

I have their foam cannon and Mellon wash. I like it, I only have auto parts store level products to compare to and I think it’s better

When you compare to your regular auto parts selection then CG will outperform them. Does not necessarily mean that they are the best.
Personally I like Sonax, Menzerna and some Griots garage products.

All the mernzerna products i've ever used have been awesome.

As for chemical guys... yeah a notch up from typical everyday cleaner stuff. My issue is their prices are are absolutely insane. You can get what I would say is better stuff at or often cheaper same price as them.

I found some of their products at Walmart for just under $10 a bottle. Looking at other similar items they were comparably priced. Looking forward to putting them to use to see how they do.

I like the Croftgate lineup.. I have used them on my Mustang for a couple years.. aquanil X waterless cleaner and quick and slick are pretty good.

CG has some really good stuff on offer. Not everything is great though. I don't recommend to have a strong brand loyalty towards car detailing products.

Check out XaronFR on youtube .. mostly german, just started a few english summaries, though, as well. He tested quite a few CG products and most are horrible so far. I avoid them.

I have spent a decent amount of cash on detailing products and Chemical bros stuff is, well, yea.... I threw away brand new polishing pads cause they don't deliver, just like the other products I bought. Well, I take that back, their waffle weave drying towel is ok. I used that until I bought a leaf blower.

All in all I really love their products I have not had any issue with them. That said I am always looking for something better because some products from another brand might do the job better.

try gyeon, so far everything i've used from them has been great, and they seem to be at a good price point.

Haven't used any of their products yet. i have only been using Meguiar's and think they have great products.

I use their VRP for my tires, butter wet wax as a top coat over my sealant and their honey dew snow foam for foaming and as my car soap.

Also just picked up some barebones undercarriage dressing, but have yet to use that.

I went to the traveling new 2020 C8 Corvette Roadshow in Greenville, SC and the rep. from GM was using an Adams detailing product on the car the whole day. It was an orange car and the shine was awesome. Who knows if GM or Chevy may have a contract with Adams. They had a whole Adams display booth with Adams products along side the C8 bette.
