Thought some of you all might find this interesting. This was using a MK7 Golf R with GDI and a very high end OCC. Spoiler: the test did not yield a conclusive answer to whether the can was effective, but still had some interesting results and is an entertaining watch IMO. Enjoy
I've done 2 5k oil changes with the Mishimoto OCC. Both times there were 1-2 ounces of oil that looked much like what came out of the drain pain, maybe a bit lighter in color. Zero water and no "gunk" of any kind.

@Cosmo Have you driven in cool or cold weather yet? This is what I collected in total from my Mishimoto clones on my 2.0T a few years ago. The first few times I checked and emptied it, it looked mostly like oil. The sludge and pudding-consistency clumps mostly accumulated in South Florida "winter":

No additional valves/gizmos. No fuel or water, just moderately dirty oil similar to what is in the drain bucket.
I think it's important to note the climate here in Northern Kalifornia tends to be one of the driest in the lower 48.
