I've come across a couple of carbon fiber upper grill pieces, but I've only found one supplier for the lower grill--Element 6, and that's just a wrapped OEM piece.

Is anyone aware of other CF lower grills?

Those are the last two pieces I need/want. Did locate the lower one a few weeks back that was carbon and not a wrap. Unfortunately that was a couple weeks+ back and I forgot/didn't mark the page. I'll poke around tonight when I have time. Keep you posted. Cheers

I got a reply from the K8 stinger store saying that they are expecting a lower grill within 4-6 weeks. I'm getting some repair work done that requires the front bumper to come off, so I figured this would be a good time to put in the CF parts without incurring much of an additional labor charge.

Do it yourself and save all those silly labor charges. It's very easy:thumbup:

Not a chance in the world that I could do it myself. When I had the car wrapped, the installers broke the upper grill when they were taking everything apart. I'm not sure if it was the main grill or the trim piece, or both, they just bought the replacement and never mentioned it to me until almost a year later. If they would have told me at the time, I would have gotten the carbon fiber replacement.

How about a picture of your wrapped Stinger:geek:

I've had some damage to my front bumper and 2 doors lately, so it's getting at least partially re-wrapped sometime soon. The problem is that the new roll of vinyl might not be an exact color match to the old vinyl. The insurance guy said if that happens, they may pay to re-do all of the one side with the dinged doors.

I can get the OEM Kia upper CF grill right now from K8Stinger Store, but they won't have the lower grill in for about 4 weeks. I'm not sure I can delay my repairs that long. So, if I buy the lower grill piece from Tuscani (Element 6), which is just a CF wrap over OEM grill, would the two parts look noticeably different?

(the guy that wrapped my full car originally doesn't want to tackle wrapping these parts for some reason)

Me I would have the patience to wait. Don't like wrap. I wrapped my support struts in the engine bay will 3m CF wrap. I did a decent job of it but compared to the rest of my CF well there is no comparison. You might want to talk to Nick at KharTunerz I got some of my CF pieces from them and found them to be very excellent to deal with.
