What's up everyone, new guy here!!

Just recently bought my Stinger, and I have to say I am so in love. What a beautiful piece of work(and it's a freakin KIA).

Anyway, I already have plenty of ideas for exterior modifications and I am wondering if anyone experimented with the carbon fiber products available (especially if you have a black Stinger).
In my mind, the subtlety of CF on black is extremely intriguing and a look I want to try. I haven't seen any images around so hoping y'all can help and give me some of your opinions.

Thanks for the conversation in advance.

Hey Kung FU Kenny (cool name BTW),

Welcome to the community and congrats on purchasing your new Stinger.

I would have to agree with you that the carbon fiber on black cars looks phenomenal.

It gives that extra pop of design that helps it stand out but keeps everything sleek at the same time. '

We carry a great deal of carbon fiber products at our shop.

If you ever have any questions, need suggestions, or any other assistance with aftermarket parts for your vehicle, shoot

me a message and I can help you out ASAP.

All the best,

It's something I'm definitely entertaining at some point for mine. I've seen it on a Ferrari before, and it looked killer. I'd say go for it, and post some pics!

Any word on if the door handles and side fender vents may become available again... or are they discontinued forever?

As of now, they are still unavailable and we have not been given a date or time for when they will be back.

Carbon is nice .

Belated welcome. I like the look of carbon fiber, but I just don't like most of the places/things it is used for. CF door handles look pretty spiff for some reason. And the gas cap cover is like a random flourish, kind of neat. I think CF hoods are overkill; but the one Stinger color that looks really cool with a CF hood is Panthera metal. Maybe Black, as you imagine, will also display it well.

Ive got the ceramic grey stinger and am about to carbon fibre wrap the bonnet (next week). Have to wrap here in Aus as the real deal is illegal. I am going to have to look at the handles!

wait carbon fiber is illegal in Aus? Or just carbon fiber hoods? either way.... why

I think CF on black looks great. Just be careful with big pieces (e.g., hoods), as several have poor fitment (see the big CF hood thread in the exterior section). Also, I've also seen posts on the front grills getting beat up by rocks and what not, thus CF wrap might be a good alternative on some pieces.

Hi Erin

How did the vinyl wrap go? Can you send photos and how much it cost?

Regards

Paul

Did anyone end up going all carbon on the Black Stinger? Just got my GT2 and looking for pix of black ones with front to back carbon. Post links of where to get the pieces too if possible (along side pix of your car).
