I went to several dealers in Orange County, California. All we're rip off except CarPros Kia, Huntington Beach. No rip off dealer mark up.

I just left Car Pros Kia Huntington Beach and they have a 10,000 dollar mark up on the sticker for the GT2. They also had a 10,000 markup on the GT1. Not saying they expect to sell the car with that markup but it is on the window sticker.

I should also mention that I'm waiting for a white GT2 to arrive at that location and when it does I will be trying to work out a deal so I will know for sure how much mark up from MSRP they will attempt to sell it for. I will post my results at that time. I test drove the red GT2 today and man does it have some power...can't wait to get mine

I went to several in the inland empire and was wondering if they were a good dealership. I just emailed them for a price right before I read this. It’s stupid asking 5995 mark up. A lot of salesman are over there heads. They just keep seeing dollar signs and forget about customer service. I know a hell of a lot more than they do. Evelyn is going to call me with a price. Who did u talk too?

We shouldn’t Have to pay a penny more than MSRP if we wait a few months we can get better deals. I think anybody paying more than MSRP is going to hurt it for everyone else cause they’re just gonna keep thinking money is coming in$$$ valley kia closest to me has not sold one I don’t think.

I have not been to a dealer in my area because of lack of inventory, but if they markup a GT 5,000 to 10,000 it will make my decision to buy an Audi S4 a lot easier and I will get heated back seats. Jim Scully

Welcome aboard, @Jim Scully! Thank you for signing up. It seems more and more dealers are doing away with that markup but I'm sure a few still have it listed. It can be negotiated away in most cases. But I hope you won't have to deal with that when the time comes...
