Can anyone find professional Nürburgring lap times for the Stinger GT?

@CaliSting is literally the only one I've read asserting that the tranny in the Stinger could not hold up to the Ring. Everything else says the car's development (including especially the in house transmission) is solidly thorough. I think the tranny would be the last thing on the Stinger to crap out. This is based solely on what I have read, which I do not believe is "marketing BS". All the reviews and videos of aggressively driving the car support this.
Have already read in couple of reviews that during track tests Stingers trans overheats. Not surprising from street going automatic. I truly haven’t seen the Stinger driven hard in a single video for any length of time and I’m afraid to drag my own car out to track for fear I’d break it. I’d love to see somone who knows how to drive try to drive a 15 to 20 minute session 9/10ths and see what fails. My money is on trans and then motor overheating.

The promo book says, "During the Stinger's development, prototype versions lapped the 13-mile track more than 480 times -- around 50 in the rain -- at 90 to 95 percent of the car's fastest lap time." Since we have empirical proof of the Stinger's "promo lap" at c. 9:08, if you take that to be "90 percent" of its fastest lap time, then the prototype Stingers lapped at something between 8:13 and 8:18.
Lol!

So we need to recruit a European GT owner who knows how to drive to head out to the ring and take a couple laps.

nah, just take the car out to a flat land state like say Utah ie; salt flats , and have at it!

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...

Actually Randy Pobst just ran a cracking 1:46 on Laguna Seca. Not blistering fast but respectable. Puts some notable cars in rear view mirror.

That track, laguna seca, has always been ''the place'' for super bike . There are changes in elevation there as well isn't there?
