So much for thinking the dealers would be reasonable. Salesman actually told me it's the only one in the southwest region. Really...cuz Peoria Kia has one just 15 min away.

This dealer also offers a "if we can't beat a written offer, we will pay you $1k cash" type policy. Well, I have my written lease offer from Peoria and go figure because it's not signed they won't pay?? If it was signed I'd have the car?? Makes no damn sense and not worth my time to argue over.

Just more bait and switch...they have the yellow posted at $51,175 on cars.com

I guess Kia really doesn't want these cars on the road. Perhaps time to move on to color option ceramic silver over red.

Camelback did something similar to me. Advertised under MSRP and then said well that is before our $5k market adjustment... the yellow isn’t worth it dude. If you want the info on my sales guy at Tempe who was ok, pm me.

I had the option of getting the yellow or the ceramic - i chose the ceramic and am very happy with my choice. if you find another store with a yellow, ask them to run numbers on both the yellow and an equivalent priced color. work a deal on the other color. act like you're ready to sign. then tell them to do that price on the yellow one. it's worth a shot... I wouldn't work with a store with a $18k addendum tho. that's lunacy.

Oh, it was..then a phone call with the GM and the finance dude and the numbers changed. Finance dude said the GM "owns" the car so his word is final.

Don't matter what sales manager signs...only numbers on contract matter.

Gonna let it sit for a bit then follow up again. I don't need this now so I can wait.

I was ripped off by 2 dealers on the Sunset Yellow. I had WRITTEN quotes in hand, but they renegged on the deal when I wanted to finalize the sale. Over MSRP on both.... I'm fed up with dealers holding on to sticker or over, and frankly done with the whole dam Kia brand. I had high hopes for the Stinger, but once again, dealers kill it.

Go file FTC complaints for this bullshit. I have several times and will keep at it. Kia and dealers need to realize that we don't have to buy a car and we are the reason they are in business.
