Staggered? Not staggered? Best options to offer great performance at the track and on the road?
Specifically I am wondering about going 285's in the rear with 255's in the front, Not sure what actual tires I want to go with at the moment, However I am open to listening to all ideas and thoughts about this
am also open to going 255's all around or some combination of whatever.

Really I just thirst for information with peoples experiences and setups they use at the drag strip here. Thanks!

My car personally is an 18 AWD GT2 for reference.

Keep in mind, larger tires are going to weigh more and you could potentially lose time if you go too big. I'm currently 225 Front and 255 Rear on my G70, which is not enough tire at my current power. I'll be going to 245 front and 275 rear.

I don't think you can really say "best setup" for drag because there's so many variables car to car. Weight, power, mods, etc. You have to kind of play with it until you find what works for that set up. Or I guess you could run whatever you have until it's no longer able to put the power down and then you upgrade from there. No need to throw money away when you're just gonna be guessing anyway.

I am already limited via traction with my current tires, spinning all 4 till about 40 to 45mph on the road. experimenting is half the fun!

Yeah, I know how you feel. Tires should be free so I can play more lol.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
You need better tires if you're spinning them, or the road you are on is littered with dust, pebbles, rocks, oil, ect.
A square setup in my opinion is best with the right tire. Staggered are a PITA because you can't buy 4 of the same tire at any point, and you can't rotate.
I run 255 40 square on 18". I ran consistent 1.56' 60 ft times yesterday at the track, I've got some HP. Look at the Michelin pilot sport 4s.

At launch better go comfort which is 50 50 for drivetrain distribution or Sport which I believe 80 rear and 20 front. You can set in custom mode for sport suspension and comfort for drive distribution.
