3.3TT Best replacement break pads

Hello,

I wanted to see what’s the general consensus on pads. I really just want similar pads (meaning I don’t have to have the extra performance per se since I don’t track, etc.) nor do I want noise if possible. Which would mean ceramic I’m assuming. I’m having shaking when breaking hard… edit

Any additional recommendations? I’ve also seen on these threads that some pads don’t “fit” and are loose and I’d prefer not to have that.

I would go with the Hawk or try Bosch Quiet Cast ceramics.

I use the Z23s front and back. No issues at all.....much better than the OEM. And much less brake dust or iron deposits on my Pearl paint.
Rock auto has them for a really value...I bought my 2nd set just recently.
I put 80k kms on the first set and they are still only at about 50%..but I do mostly highway driving.
PS: I assume you have the brembos...as I do.

I have Stop Tech pads. A lil bit dusty but solves the known shuddering problem.

Hawk 5.0 are squeal city in temperatures below 60 degrees. I’ll be getting ebc red all around next time.

Im running hawk 5.0 up front and ebc reds in the rear. Love the hawks though the reds in the rear bite a bit harder intially then the hawks making braking a bit more diffcult for smoother operation. just my opinion
