Back Hatch/Trunk issue

I just discovered this omission on my 2021 GT1 as well. A definite miss to not have a "pop" button in the car

I can confirm, on a 2019 Gt1, there is not button inside of the car. When the button on the fab is held, the lights do blink, but the trunk doesn't unlatch. When the car is locked, you do need to have the fab for the trunk to open when you manually push the button ON THE CAR (button on fab never works, other than having the lights flash to confirm the fab is close enough to work). I live in Florida, my manual button dry rotted, and recessed itself into the trunk door. THE ONLY WAY TO OPEN THE TRUNK, is to open the compartment that is immediately on the other side of the outside trunk button. So, climb inside the trunk by pulling down the back rests inside of the car, remove the little plastic cover on the trunk door, then press on the little white mechanism immediately inside of that compartment. After 2 weeks of no way to open the trunk, once I found this, I put a little string on the mechanism, which hangs outside of the car, that when (very very carefully and EXTREMELY GENTALLY) is pulled, it opens the trunk from the outside. BE WARNED!!!... the plastic piece will probably break very easily, and ANYONE could pull on that cord and break into the car. Has anyone found a solution that cost less than $300 or $400 to fix this?

I have a 2019 GTS as well. My rear hatch is a manual open as well. The GTS's do not have all the options that the GT1's have and the remote hatch access is one that we do not have. We have some goodies like limited slip rear diffs on rwd models and all the carbon fiber and alcantara bits on the interior. Actually my hatch started rattling over bumps at just 2,500 miles. The dealer repaired it for me last week. Anyway our GTS's are different from the regular Stinger lineup.
My 2020 Indigo AWD has a limited slip rear diff, best of both worlds. Regular AWD for daily driving or I can put 100% power to the rear and have some sideways fun!
