• PLEASE! It is VERY important that this area is not used for the discussion of technical issues with your Stinger. This section is for posting about regional-specific things like Stinger clubs, events, local vendor or dealer recommendations, KiaStinger.com member sightings, etcetera... In other words, I do NOT want people to need to scour through several different sections to find answers about their heads up display. That's why there's a section dedicated specifically to discussions like that. THANK YOU!

Australia Stinger Sales?

I'm just going to wait for someone that's starts doing them and pay for it. I don't trust myself plus if something goes wrong I can blame someone!

Definitely E badges as they are original to the Stinger....albeit in Korea only. I think they just look cooler in the flesh as I purchased both types.

I did the installation myself and just took my time. My handyman skills are average at best but found as long as you are prepared and follow a process it's not that hard. There were no Stinger specific badge changing instructions or videos available at the time when I did mine so I created this how to guide from collating the advice shared on this forum and took some photos. Combined with this recent how to video from a guy in the U.S you should have all the guidance you need:

Yes i can highly recommend tazz's demo i used his technique and even though i have 2 left hands it all came up trumps. Yours was by far the best instructions.

Hey you guys. :p Not to ruffle feathers but I want to make sure everyone can easily understand your messages. I'm going through all the posts in this discussion now and fixing all the quotes. Take a look here when you get a moment: Quoting 101

Again, not to complain - I'm just afraid that once I run out of time to take care of stuff like this - some of your messages are going to get lost in space and never be seen...

If population figures are any indicator, 70 sales in Jan. Yes, a very simplistic estimate:)

Kia AU was estimating 200/month for the first year then 500/month after stock becomes more readally available. I asked my local dealer the other day & they sold 4 in January which seems ok if you multiply that with the number of dealers nationally your estimate of 70 in Jan. is more than achievable.

Getting there.

According to VFACTs, the Stinger did 139 last month; good for 3rd place in the large car category (behind the Commodore and E Class).

Not a bad figure for January, just funny seeing 1 & 2 for large cars, most of my life it was always either Commodore GM or Ford Falcon, both now gone the way of the dodo bird.
