• PLEASE! It is VERY important that this area is not used for the discussion of technical issues with your Stinger. This section is for posting about regional-specific things like Stinger clubs, events, local vendor or dealer recommendations, KiaStinger.com member sightings, etcetera... In other words, I do NOT want people to need to scour through several different sections to find answers about their heads up display. That's why there's a section dedicated specifically to discussions like that. THANK YOU!

Hi, anyone have any information on when the next map and software updates will be available for Aus/NZ?
Last update was May last year and Kia were meant to be doing them every 6 months, I talked to Kia head office NZ and they said they had a new map supplier and the next update would be available sometime between March and May this year. We are now in June still nothing.
Current map still gets me where I want to go but road speed limits, safety camera locations and speed limits plus new road layouts are now over a year out of date. I see our American colleagues have had at least two software updates this year alone. Getting a little irritated now.

I checked that this morning before I posted, could have sworn it still said May 2021 but so used to seeing that there that I may have missed the digit change. Well in that case they were true to their word 'sometime between March and May'. I'll try that update today thanks.
probably just faster on the draw than kia :)

The Navigation system is so shite i just use Waze its so much better.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...

Yep its how backwards the system has always been.

I find that some South Australian red light cameras, that have existed for up to a decade, are missing from the Stinger's maps. These same cameras were also missing from the maps used by my previous Subaru Liberty. I don't know why so many are missing.

Two years out of date would be fantastic! I'm still being warned about NZ speed cameras that were removed five years ago.

NZ has removed speed cameras? First time I've ever been tempted to move across the ditch.

The Sat Nav is by far the worst feature in this car, so disappointing as for me everything else meets & exceed expectations.
