First off, I appreciate any feedback on my inquiry.

I have been interested in the Stinger GT2 for a while now and I have been comparing the Stinger against Audi S5 Sportback in many aspects for a few weeks. I have test driven both vehicles and got lease numbers from both dealers. The two vehicles are pretty similar in many ways. I can definitely say that Kia has come a long way and they definitely deserve the respect.
Bottom line, Audi is a better car still with screaming luxury vehicle exterior & interior but with a sticker price of $67,895.00. Lease deal comes at $997/M + $1100 due at signing with 10K miles/year for 36 months.
If I had the budget, I would take the Audi S5 in a heartbeat but to be spending ~1K on a lease would be absurd if you ask me unless you don't care about building an equity. A better option would be to purchase at 1K/M payment.

So the next vehicle that's in my budget range is the Stinger GT2 and I have received the following numbers from the dealer.
MSRP: $52,530
DEALER DISCOUNT: $3530
REBATE: $7000
ADJ. PRICE: $42,000
AFTER TAX+DOC FEES: $43,266.12
10K MILES/YEAR, 36 MONTHS
MONTHLY PAYMENT: $633 WITH 0 DOWN

I can also get the K plan (corporate employee discount) from KMA which is 5% off invoice but the dealer says that if I use the K plan then I would not be eligible for the $7000 rebate option. Is this true??? Anyone in the forums used employee discounts on the Stingers? Would you care to share your experience?
Overall, I would be happy to sign and drive off if my monthly payment was in the low/mid $500s with $0 down. What do I need to do to get there? Or is this not possible on the new Stinger GT2?
Your feedback would be very valuable as I am trying to make a deal within the week or two.
Thank you!

Oh down in NJ some dealers advertising 5000ish off msrp + 7000 lease cash

Want to do it but haven’t yet because I still got 2 months on my q50

$5K discount + $7K lease cash seems like a great deal to me which would put you right around the mid $500 range. Maybe we should wait and see if they have anything better in May?
The GT2 I'm looking at has been sitting at the dealer since before Christmas last year. I don't know what the dealers turn around time is usually but I would assume they wouldn't want to sit on a new vehicle for more than 5~6 months. If so, I have the leverage to negotiate a better leasing price.

No one else in the forum can comment on the K plan - KMA employee discount on the Stinger GT2?

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...

I agree Kia has come a long way and I too was comparing to the S5 SB, 440i GC and C43 AMG. The GT2 Stinger has about 95% of the performance and features of any of those cars for $15k-$20k less!

It was a “no brainer” for me and I ended up with a similar deal. I’d be surprised, but if those are true walk out the door numbers then I’d say it’s a great deal!

I would also confirm their total out of pocket cost too as it’s usually first payment plus DMV(approx $1k). My GT2 is about $600m(monthly taxes included) on a 48m/40k with 0 down, so a 36m for $633m sounds right.

Only way to get to $500m is $3-5k down or drop to the GT or GT1.

I too wish I could have gotten $500-550m, but when you truly compare to other cars the Stinger is up against(S5, 440i, C43=$1k/m) it’s a real steal!

Thanks for your input StungBlue2!
I too am also comparing the C43 AMG but it doesn't have the hatchback like the Stinger or the Audi S5 SB as I will need to store a baby stroller along with other baby items time to time in the cargo area. And yes, you are right. It is a "no brainer" when it comes down to pricing.
I will definitely confirm the initial out of pocket cost and try to increase the dealer discount before signing this weekend or next weekend. Since it's almost May, I might as well wait a week and see if they come out with a better incentive for the month of May. My goal is to get just below $600/M.

After a long negotiation process, I pulled the trigger last night and leased a Kia Stinger GT2 (AWD).
Final verdict:
Tier 3 Rate (KMA Financial)
$7000 Lease Cash
$4000 Discount
-$1300 Trade
$2000 (Startup + cash down)
Monthly: $630
FYI: KMA employee discount plan does not work on leases for now since the Stinger is a new model. It may work on a purchase though.

While I was driving home after picking up the vehicle, I turned on the cruise control for the first time and the vehicle was "semi" driving itself!
Overall, I am pretty happy with the vehicle. I would've been happier if it was the new Audi S5 sitting in my garage but this will do for now.

A quick tip for the people who are interested in picking up a Stinger:
Find out how long the vehicle has been sitting in the lot. The longer it has been sitting in the lot, the dealer will be more aggressive on discounts.
Only certain dealers offer Lease Cash. Call the dealer first to see if they offer lease cash, get some preliminary numbers before making a trip to the dealer.

Good luck!

Congrats and officially welcome to the Stinger HIVE! Beautiful car and looks to be a pretty fair deal.

And yes, you will find something new almost everyday that surprises you. The Smart cruise and Active Lane Departure on highest settings almost drives itself on the highway! Amazing advanced features and you’ll learn to enjoy all the technologies.

Right now you may be envious of the S5, but just wait until you start getting all the stares and thumbs up. That envious feeling will begin to fade and you’ll never look back, except at the poor S5 in your rear view mirror!;):D
