Anyone upgraded their infotainment to 10"?

Hey, just had a thought. I know I am super late on this thread but I just bought my stinger and got it yesterday. I am sure you already thought of this, but I know the new stinger has a different connector. Do we know if they share all of the same connections tho? Could potentially build a custom adapter harness as a go between for the two. Connect the three from the older modle into the adapter and the adapter to the 10inch. I have installed many things in a car before but never done a screen swap. From an engineering standpoint it shouldn't be too difficult unless they intentionally made it harder on us(most likely). There may be some resolution issues with what I suggested but just an initial thought.

A while back when I looked into this, I saw a facebook post from someone in either New Zealand or Korea that did the screen swap, but not all the features worked.

Think they lost like 360 cam maybe? Maybe some more? Seemed like a lot of work for it to be half working.

Ah that makes sense. And these are 2018 features that were lost?

Sorry if this is a dumb question. Why is this difficult if the screen, head unit, and wiring harnesses are all available to be purchased as replacement parts? Im also at the point where my 2018 GT2 needs some repairs and would like to upgrade to the 360 cameras with the 2022+ head unit. Screen is delaminating and my driver side mirror motors have failed.

No problem. We all ask dumb questions from time to time. Wiring is totally different.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
I bought a second car with the new entertainment, because friend of mine didn't accept my offer :)
I'll wait for a bit warmer days to swap the infotainments and see if the new one will start in the older car.

Any update or progress?

Does your screen look like this?
