So my Girodisk Magic Pads fall SIGNIFICANTLY short of their claims of low dust and low noise. Whoever is telling lies in their marketing department would have a promising career as a politician!

Thus I am looking at new front brake pads and was leaning towards the bosch 1001s but was curious as to what experiences have been with the k8 in-house elite performance pads.

IMO having researched and shopped for new pads recently, much of the presumed differences in pads is pure marketing. Ultimately pads come down to the material they are made of and not the brand or flashy advertising behind them. Dig down into the specs of the different pads you are considering and see what they are made of and remove the marketing hype from the equation for a more level-headed conclusion on what is worth buying.

Most likely a rebrand, I would guess DFC or something similar. Which is not bad, they are decent pads.

I was gonna add that too. Probably a lot of rebranding going on with pads...

Both Peter and I have them on our shop cars. We have sold well over 50 sets to the community and have great feedback. We have done our best to be able to bring a pad to market that eliminates the issues from stock pads while also still performing well for daily drivers and some spirited driving. We currently have 13 verified reviews on the product page as well that can help you hear other peoples experience with ordering with us and installing these pads.

If anyone is looking for more information about our pads, you can check them out on our website: (FOUND HERE)

Absolutely!!! I thought they were going to be really good but they are not. They even have scarred my rotors a tad bit. Which is not a big deal since I planned on going the two piece route anyway. But whatever you decide please let me know.

In addition I was told to reach out to Counter Space garage about their pads for the stinger. That’s on the list but I do not think they are a cheap set but supposedly last a really long time.

i was recently given a set when i bought some parts of somebody (he traded in his car), installed them with the old rotors (i bought new ones but the wrong rotors showed up in the box, ugh) used them on a Rally, worked great. not nearly as much fading as stock pads. i had a little bit of vibration, but could've been from the rear pads. cleared up rather quickly.

Compared to stock, big improvement. can't compare them to anything else tho.

K8SS brake pads are just rebranded Dynamic Friction Company Brake Pads... at over $100 markup. So for those looking at the K8SS brake pads as an option, save yourself $100+ and buy them directly from Dynamic Friction Company. IMG_8322.webpIMG_8325.webp
