Only time will tell.Isn't that just a temporary fix?
I have the A30M, it does the reset as well.Isn't that just a temporary fix?
Thanks! No need for it here, mine has never had the rough shift issues. Anything adaptive will likely end up back where it was before a reset which is why I wanted to warn people so they dont waste $20 on a temp fix.I have the A30M, it does the reset as well.
I f you even need the reset let me know, I will do it free for you.
I know you are local to me.
Its the adaptive TCU that causes it, sometimes it learns oddly to say the least.
I have never had to do it to mine, its still smooth as silk, but Im a highway driver primarily.
So you have no first hand knowledge about the issue, never attempted the remedy but tell people not to waste their time, enjoy the harsh downshift.. Unfortunately for those that have the issue who take it to the dealer, unless under warranty they are going to get charged more than the one time $20 I'm offering. Dealers will claim it's normal behavior and charge to have it done. Once reset its important to drive conservatively in Comfort Mode for a while with no harsh braking. Thanks! I agree, the harsh downshifting is usually a direct result of aggressive driving during the initial learn period for the TCU.So you have no first hand knowledge about the issue, never attempted the remedy but tell people not to waste their time, enjoy the harsh downshift..
