• PLEASE! It is VERY important that this area is not used for the discussion of technical issues with your Stinger. This section is for posting about regional-specific things like Stinger clubs, events, local vendor or dealer recommendations, KiaStinger.com member sightings, etcetera... In other words, I do NOT want people to need to scour through several different sections to find answers about their heads up display. That's why there's a section dedicated specifically to discussions like that. THANK YOU!

Anyone from Missouri here?

Rims are the same as previous sale post, but have OEM summer tires.

Dealer did not swap tires for me. I intended to sell as winter wheel combo but now it’s summer OEM. Long story. With tpms, balanced, ready to go.

It’s greatly appreciated if you could reach out for me. It is hard for me to schedule a 3+ hours drive to chesterfield and another 3 hours back to small town Champaign IL, where there is no stinger community and would take me forever to find a new home for them.

Suddenly saving for a high school student's trip to Europe.

Maybe I can afford putting sticky rubber on the 18s for a year or two. LOL

Sorry if it is kinda off topic but, is there any meet up in great lakes area where I can post wheels for sale information...Giving the cost to ship it is unlikely owners from the coasts will be interested

@Jacques, I am down for showing support.. Between work and 4 kids my free time is minimal but I get out when I can..

@RandallK - is there a local Stinger community? If not, maybe we should start one. :) I've had experience running local car clubs, doesn't have to take much work.

@MenShengFaCai - are the wheels the same ones you were selling before, but with winter tires?

I'm right there with you. :) I have 2 extremely busy kids (12 yr old boy, 9 yr old girl), a small business owner wife, and I freelance on the side of my regular job. But I've been thinking if the interest is there, it'd be cool to start something up. I'll message you in a few days and we can talk a bit about it more.

Right on... I bet @Duce_13 would be up for something to..

20+ years ago, I was in a local tuner car club called Shaolin Racing.. You had to be voted in and it was super exclusive and all the members were good people..

Most “not all” clubs today are full of douche canoes and as long as it doesn’t turn into that, I am down..

I've heard of this club. I've been around long enough to probably know some of the people that were in it. :) In 1999, I started STLPC (St. Louis Prelude Club), which back in the day, it was a Yahoo Group. It was almost exclusively Honda Prelude owners, but as people moved on to other Honda/Acuras, it was rebranded as HACSTL (Honda-Acura Club STL). We did some collaborations with car dealerships, import shops (Lightspeed), and others, hosted other clubs in the state (417 Imports was one), even hosted the National Prelude Meet in 2006, which had a meet-and-greet, car show/dyno show, track day (at Gateway/WWT Raceway), and dinner. I was very involved in autocrossing, HPDE's (participant and instructor) before I had a family.

Anyways, I'll talk to you and Duce in a next few days!

Jeffco resident here. Just picked up my GT1 on Tuesday. Haven't seen but a couple others in the wild yet so far. Good to see we have a presence in the area at least.

Wow.. talk about a blast from the past..

Yep, Jack from Lightspeed was one of the senior members of Shaolin.. I had a silver 89 CRX Si that had a bunch of goodies.. I miss that damn car as it’s still one of my favs..

I also had a few custom Accords back in the day, so my Honda love is strong..

For those that are interested, we just launched the St. Louis Stinger Club: STL Stinger Club

If you are interested in joining, let RandallK, Duce_13 or I know!

Hey all! I'm way late to the party, but I've had my stinger since March '18 and have kinda lurked on the forum for awhile. Glad to see so many other stinger owners in the STL area. @Jacques I'm located in the St. Charles area as well!

^^^Cool! What kind of Stinger do you have? Me and a few guys started up the STL Stinger Club recently. We have a subforum here, let me know if you want to join it. Also, we have a Facebook group as well https://www.facebook.com/groups/stlstingerclub/

^^^ I'm cruisin' a 2.0. I have a 70 mile round trip commute to work so I opted for the smaller engine to save a bit on fuel. Not to mention I have a lead foot so with the 3.3 I would have been burning through gas just as much as my old 335i .

I'd love to join the group! This has been my first new car purchase and I'm looking to have some fun with it! If you're ever near the main street area, you should be able to see mine parked around somewhere!

I'm in the Main Street area often because my wife's business is just north of that area (in Frenchtown, STL Cake Pops :)), and we often stop by the shops and restaurants, one of which is a client of mine (Katy Trail Collections). In any case, I'll PM you with more details when I have a little more time. Hope to meet you soon!

Well I have the SW side of the state covered. I'm a new Stinger owner in Springfield. I haven't seen any others around here yet....

Hi All,

Was recently searching for a STL-specific Stinger group and haven't found anything until now. I'm in Chesterfield and see a few Stingers driving around from time to time.

Any of you have time and/or interest in a meet up? Maybe we invite the KC or So. Illinois tribes too?

@Justin Morley , I and three other people started a STL Stinger Club in July 2019 (Log into Facebook | Facebook). We have both a FB group, as well as a subforum here. We have 41 members to date. We had our first meet back in the fall at Suntrup Kia South, and we also meet at C&C's in the STL area. Hit us up!
