This vid suggests costs are about the same , but the warranty info is quite interesting ....................Do you know if there's a noticeable price difference between 3M and Xpel?

State Farm (I just called to ask) says that they cover preexisting condition of the vehicle; so PPF would be replaced under coverage.
That could be true here too. But I did specify that I had added the PPF to protect against road debris. And she said that when repairing the damage, everything that is there gets repaired. We didn't talk about premiums reflecting everything that is there that was added after the car was purchased. I'll have to ask about that. That's not how it works in GA (I am with State Farm.) If you insure a vehicle, the premium is based on the standard vehicle. Any options you add would not be replaced in case of damage, unless you have added them to your policy - which will likely increase your premium.
