Curious if it's noticeable both when you're looking at the car and in reference to it possibly decreasing brightness at night.
Thanks in advance

Hi there @DistrictStinger,
I think you mean clear Paint Protection Film on the headlights, like I have, of course it's clear, so it doesn't have any effect on the brightness of the front headlights, but is invaluable at protecting the headlight mainly should a stone from the road hits it, can save it from being damaged, needing an expensive new one, well worth it.
I had PPF done on the entire front of my stinger last week, including the headlights, you'd never know it was there, crystal clear.
Edit: FU autocorrect
Merlin , do you think wrapping a persons head in PPF would reduce /eliminate premature male balding .............................bawaaaaaMy car has had PPF for a whole year, 3M, and it's as clear as when it was put on. The headlights are covered too. The entire front back to the windshield cost c. $950.
I think that is "old 3M". Like Kia, it's hard to live down an old reputation.Dont use 3m as it can yellow also only guaranteed 5 years. Suntek and Xpel 10 yrs.
I don't think that is true ...................Best Paint Protection Film for Cars? XPEL vs 3M vs LLumar vs SunTekDont use 3m as it can yellow also only guaranteed 5 years. Suntek and Xpel 10 yrs.
State Farm (I just called to ask) says that they cover preexisting condition of the vehicle; so PPF would be replaced under coverage.Do any of you know if your insurance companies cover your clear wraps in case of any accidental damage done to the body of the car? (asking because this shit isnt cheap)
For example, if you clear wrap your front bumper, and you get into a fender bender months down the line, will insurance reimburse you for it or help cover reinstallation of it?

The 3m scotch guard pro is thinner than the others, it has less shine and self healing properties as well. I looked into this a while back and did a lot of fact finding on the net, YouTube and asking local installers. I guess it’s up to the buyer but I would only consider Suntek or Xpel.I don't think that is true ...................Best Paint Protection Film for Cars? XPEL vs 3M vs LLumar vs SunTek

Thats nice ..........it would be helpful if you could attach an independent review that was written recently to support this . The review I attached mentions nothing about ,lack of 3m quality as you assert "ie product thickness , yellowing , lack of self healing or only a 5 year warranty " non of this appears correct ,
the only issue they raise is that it doesnt bead water as much as the others ..................and as Merlin points out he is 100% satisfied with 3M
Just have your Insurer list it as an aftermarket accessory and there shouldn't be an issue.Do any of you know if your insurance companies cover your clear wraps in case of any accidental damage done to the body of the car? (asking because this shit isnt cheap)
