I have a Micro Blue GT2 with the light interior and I have noticed that the driver’s seat leather is starting to discolor from my clothes. I remember reading about others having this problem as well, but do not remember any solutions.

I had my Stinger Ceramic Coated with Ceramic Pro - 5 year warranty and I love it. Best purchase I have made for my Stinger so far. I know you can ceramic coat leather but have never seen it after application.

Has anyone done this to their interior, and does it really protect from color transfer from clothing? Does the leather feel different/stiffer etc.?

Following. Was curious about that too. I also have ceramic pro with the 5 year warranty.

How much you end up paying for Ceramic pro ?

What's the lifespan of Ceramic Pro for leather?

I was told that all leather carries a 1 year warrenty.

I paid just north of $1200 for Ceramic Pro with the 5 year warrenty. Was a bit much, but so far has been well worth it. My Stinger stays really clean in between washes and the rain just flies off my windshield, almost to the point of not needing the wipers at speeds of 35 MPH+.

Do you need to pay for the annual "inspection" that's required to keep it under warranty? I am currently getting quotes for ceramic pro, but seeing some people on yelp complaining that they still need to pay for the "inspection", as they wash, clay and reapply "ceramic pro light" to top it off annually.

From my understanding yes, I will have to. Not really ideal, and kinda irritates me but I love my Stinger, and it will be a small price to pay in the long run to keep both her exterior and interior protected.

Good morning to all... I also was curious of this question.. I am a part time detailer on the side and I love Car-pro products!!! I have done my car with the Ceramic UK 3.0 Coating. I have not coated the seats yet, however, in the mean time, I can share with you what I do to keep them clean.

1. Take a good quality 16x16 microfiber towel and soak it with warm water..gently ring it out and then take several drops od DAWN liquid dish soap. Agitate the towel to get some bubble action and then gently wipe the entire seat to lift off the color transfer, and any dirt particulates that are on the seat.
2. Take another 16x16 ( new ) good quality microfiber towel, and wipe any excess water off the leather seats..
3. Next, apply a thin coat of LEXOl Leather conditioner on the seats with a DRY!! microfiber clean and ( new ) towel! Be careful to spray the product only on the microfiber towel, and spread evenly through the towel- then lightly coat the seats! Not to get too much product into the seat perforations.
4. Finally allow leather condition to dry for 5-10 minutes, and wipe off any excess with another ( new ) good quality microfiber towel..

Seats will be amazing with a smooth greaseless feel and have a soft matte color like OE! I caution any one on using any other leather conditioner on the market, unless you want a gloss shine on the seats that is extremely slippery! The LEXOl is the only one that I can get to put the soft matte finish on the seats like OE....Plus, its only like 7$ a bottle at Walmart.. Don't get caught up in all the lies on the market about these expensive leather cleaners out here...I have tried tons of them, and gotten pore results!.. I will try and put some pictures up soon of my car freshly cleaned.. I have the light colored seats also...Repeat the same process monthly on the steering wheel!! If the wheel is shiny - its time to clean the shine is from the oils from your dirty hands that has absorbed into the leather porous. I clean my car interior monthly to keep my Navy Blue uniform color off the seats..Typically, I only see traces of the color transfer on the side, and thigh bolster edges. Hope this helps some one!!

Sooo for anyone still interested, over the past weekend I had my interior Ceramic Coated as I had said I was planning to do. Again I went with the same guy that did the wonderful job on my Babe's exterior. He did an absolute great job cleaning the interior and getting it ready for coating. You can see in the first few pics how my clothes were transfering color to the seats and how horrible it looked.

I am really happy with the quality and the results of his hard work. So anyone considering this, so far I am super happy with it and do not regret the cost of it. Time will tell. :)

Tagging you @Falaris !!

Exactly why I didnt get the micro blue
I wear jeans the majority of the time in the cold months, and that light gray screamed blue jean stains.

But I also got the resistall for exterior and interior.

Nice job & looks good, I love that interior colour option it’s a shame is not offered down here.

@Luminary I think I will look into that when I get my exterior refreshed in a couple months. Depending on cost.. the refresh will cost enough!

How much did you pay for the service of interior only?

A bit more then $400 for the complete interior package. Pricey yes, but worth it for me.

dang bro, I would have done it for less!! I am a carpro guy myself. I am not authorized installer, however I do side jobs and use their products! Plus did my car with their Ceramic coating..Looks good though, its hard to tell in the pictures, did it leave the leather with a sheene, or matte finish?

The post detail looks great. I got to ask - how did those seats get so dirty? You should definitely see results with those seats coated. Black seats - probably won't tell a difference. The light grey or red interiors will see a benefit.

Can't believe how much had transferred onto the seat - my 2003 F150 (that I've owned since new) has a light tan leather and you can't see any color difference between the drivers and other seats.
