I have a 2018 Stinger GT with Brembo (GT1 in US). I'm considering ditching the staggered OEM setup downsize to 18". Due to the current setup, manufacturers won't honour tire warranty... Besides prices on the 18" are much better anyways!
Current OEM setup:
- Front (19x8 with 225/40/19 - Michelin Pilot Sport AS3+)
- Rear (19x8.5 with 255/35/19 - Michelin Pilot Sport AS3+)
Considering:
- Fast FC04 square setup 18x9 with 30mm offset (245/40/18)
I asked the dealership but they don't seem to know much... It seems like most people are running 18x8 with 225/40/18. I'm considering a wider tire for better traction and look (hoping it to have more flush look without stretching the tires).
Does anyone in the forum have the 18x9 (30mm offset) square setup? Would like to make sure there aren't any issues like rubbing or clearance issues before ordering them... If not, any recommendations on the 18" square setup would be much appreciated.
