So here is my dilemma, which maybe some of you have though through and figured out, although I can’t find any opinions via searching.

I’m picking up my GT limited November 1st. Going to toss snow tires on it right away. I would like to use the stock 19’s as winter rims, and buy a nice looking set of wheels to pair up with the Michelin’s Pilot Sports. However trying to find staggered wheels to accommodate the Michelin’s in a reasonable price point has seemed difficult. And I would rather not waste the Michelin’s by going with a squared setup, unless I can sell them for a good price to fund the new set of wheels/tires. Also, 19” winter tires to fit the stock wheels are damn expensive. As I’m hauling my little one around, I’m willing to spend the dough, but damn 19” winter rubber isn’t cheap.

Anyone else been in my situation and come up with a good solution?

Just get Ultra HP AS tires and run them all year ..................been doing it for years

All seasons aren’t an option for me. 1) I live north of Toronto where the snow is worse than in the city. 2) I want the true winter tire for my families safety. 3) I’ll be putting 50km a year on the vehicle, so I like to swap between sets still I’m getting new tires every 9-12 months.

well then get 18 " winters square and learn to like\love the stock set up for summer ...................good luck !!

I was gonna say just get A/S tires until the Canada bit..lol. If I were you I'd put winter tires on the heavy-as-bricks stock wheels and buy something lighter for the summer tires. If you're buying new wheels may as well go a bit wider too, 19x8.5/19x10 would fit easily and look good.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
The less expensive way to go is what @westcoastGT said: use the OEM rims in the summer and buy cheaper 18s with winter tires squared. This doesn't work if you don't like the OEM 19s that much. I think they rock.

You could consider getting snow tires and wheels and delay your decision on a different summer setup until after you wear out the oem rubber on the 19s? At least you can start a budget, then sell the OEM 19s in a few years when the rubber's gone.

The only reason I'm grateful my car came in 18" All Seasons is because I'll be putting snows on them and am free to do what I want for summer wheels and tires.

then sell the OEM 19s in a few years when the rubber's gone.
Years!? More like months. Those things only have a 15K treadlife warranty (half the 30K warranty because of running a staggered setup). Some drivers on here have gotten less than 10K miles out of their rear tires.

Goto quattrotires.com. canadian website. I bought my winter tires and rims in the staggered 19" offset that is the same as stock

Same struggle over here. The OEM rims are so... OEM. What did you end up doing?

I'm doing the exact same thing ended up getting the dealership to give me 19" Toyo Observes for the stock OEM rims for winters and will be ordering these to the states (fortunately my family lives across from Massena NY) and will be ordering it even with USD to CAD costs are reasonable at $1144 USD for 4 in the 8 and 9.5 setup TSW Wheels Nurburgring 19x9.5 Matte Gunmetal +41mm Offset

I was quoted $1,785 CAD including tax in Canada for the TSW Nurburgring 19" in bronze. So expensive and failed the WAT (wife approval test) :-(

Could someone take a look at this? Would these fit with the 19" staggered tires?

KMC KM691 SPIN MATTE BRONZE 19 x 8.5 (35mm) 5x114.3

A little confused, can the 19 x 8.5 work for both front and back on the staggered setup?

If you live on the canadian side of the border, goto quattro tires .com. I bought some kuhmo winter tires in the oem size, they ship em right to your door. If you buy rims with them, they will balance them on the rims too

I really like the GT rims. They go "buGAH!" While the Stinger is rare, the rims are also. They are a very dynamic, super cool design.

I also purchased the "Kumho WP72" from quattro tire.com for winter and installed on 19" OEM wheels.

The Kumho WP72 is lunched last year in Korea and good for value.
