Annoying door chime

Does anyone know if you can disable the annoying door chime when the door is open, yes the door is open I just freaking opened it!!!
So typically I pull up to my parking spot, park break on, into park then open door as it's summer in Australia (and even a few seconds in car without aircon I start sweating) then I do my normal fart arseing around grab my phone, wallet put on sunshade etc
The whole time I have this stupid chime going off telling me the door is open.
Now I know some people will say well leave the car running so air con works but I like to leave the air con off for a minute or so before I turn the car off, I have found this stops that moudly smell from developing (in my experience)
First world problems I know!

I don't have a door chime. Maybe it's an Aussie thing?

It should only chime if your ignition is on. Are you pushing the start/stop button more than once?

I think I got it sorted
So if I open the door and then turn the car off the chime continues until door is shut, but if I turn car off first then no chime.
So as SKStinger said, it's tied to ignition.
