Just curious whether the new GT-Lines have the interior ambient lighting, I haven't had anytime to look around, read the manual yet.
Maybe just the upper/GT trims?
TIA

If you haven't seen the ambient lighting by now in your 2.5L, then it isn't there. That's just a strong hunch. Have you looked in your settings to see if ambient lighting color selections and brightness are there?

I have not had the opportunity to check yet, I know the white floor lights are there and functional. I have my own business and own an ABnB and another rental property, so busy AF. I will retire comfortably at 60- 8 more years to go!

according to the Kia website, the GT1 and above has the ambient lighting, not the GT-Line

It does not. One of a few things that were lost in the GT-Lines.

I have a 2020 base gt which has the ambient lighting, so the pre 2022 gt-line model have that as well but the 2022 doesn't? Just curious.

Don't know if they had it, but I know the 2022s do not. Just went through this at a dealership. Was looking to go from 2018 Premium to 22 GT-Line (staying with more mpg engine) but found we were losing too much. Some small things (like the ambient lighting), other things like the memory seats that my wife and I use every day, or the front sonar proximity sensors were bigger issues. Frustrating that Kia won't offer these things as packages that we could add on.

"One does not simply buy a Stinger for good mileage."

They buy the cheaper one because it's cheaper!

It's all about priorities. I couldn't care less about ambient lighting. However memory seats are important with multiple drivers. Front sonar... eh.. It'd be nice to have but could live without.

I choose the cheaper one because it was cheaper, and adequately met my needs :p. Well that and I couldn't reconcile paying $50K+ for a kia.

Not me. Car before was 85K, one before that 92K. Went to Stinger because it had best mpg I could find with awd, looks/sound system and over 250hp....plus all the other goodies. About value for me, especially given gas prices will be 7.99 soon. Value, not price.

I've been down that road before. When I was looking to buy a Stinger back in 2020 I had to stay under 40k so there was only 1 option (well 2 really) but I was only interested in the 3.3tt. After buying the base awd gt new (36k) and putting about 11,300 miles on it I definitely wish I could add on some options.

Nav/8" touch screen - the screen in the base car is hideous imo. Originally, I only had driven the gt2/gt1 so I was definitely disappointed in the base cars screen. And no nav in a car costing 30k? I thought that was a absolute joke. Luckily for me, I was able to swap in the nav head unit and 8" touch screen so my car is upgraded to what it shoulda had from the start.

Power tilt wheel - much easier to get outta the car as the power wheel goes up a tad higher than the standard wheel.

15 speaker stereo - the 9 speaker stereo is not loud enough using Bluetooth. It's decent with a USB though.

Sunroof

Smart trunk

Those are the options I'd want if I could add on anything.

My premium has all those things but the smart trunk was not available. What I want most is the adaptive headlights and surround view monitor. Had the headlights on other cars and they really are cool/helpful. What is crazy is that the GT2 has BOTH the SVM and the parking sensors. Give us just one of them at least! The memory seats also adjust the steering wheel for my wife and I. The GT2 has the ventilated seats and the HUD as well. Have had HUD before, but not something I really need/want. Ventilated seats would be nice. Basically, I want to get a 2.5 engine but with all the gt2 packages. If Kia would offer that I think their sales would be better, if they can keep the price reasonable.
