Our local "Expert" told me that he even had a set of whitelines rip the threads and pull apart. yikes. He recommended the brand "superpro" instead and he is currently running those with no issues.. i found them on kdmtuners website. i have a set on order and ill report back here after i get them installed.
Looked them up. From what I can see they look exactly the same. For a set to snap. Either they weren't installed and tightened properly or just a bad piece.
It might be! The warranty info online says that swaybar and endlink parts have a 3 year warranty, but I admittedly did not read through the fine print. I just sent them an email to find out if I can get mine replaced. Thanks for the idea!
Any update? Did your new set provide better results?
I purchased Super pro front endlinks and I'm having the same issue. Not sure if the shop followed proper procedure - but they're a shop I trust with performance items.
FYI - whitelines and suuper pros use the same manufacturer for their parts. So pretty much the same item.
yeah I have a rattle on my left front from the links / sway bar white line end lengths I've turned the thread all the way in so it's not exposed to tighten them up and have adjusted the neutral play out of them and I still have it I just can't get rid of it learning to live with it, driving a nice car I hate to have any kind of noise like that.
and it's only on the really small bumps or a rough road any other road or terrain I have no noise Car tracks perfectly down the street corner's amazingly
I just called my alignment guy about the end link rattle (he adjusted them for me during an alignment). He said he pulled the ends off and used low strength thread sealant to stop the vibrations and rattles. And mine are still quiet after three months.
I just installed my replacement Whiteline Endlinks yesterday and so far the noise is gone! It definitely must have been the joints. If they fail again, could it be because I have the links too short/tight? Or is it more likely to be a QC issue?
