Hey guys I’m a Kia newb. Got a 2020 stinger GT awd 3.3tt about 2 weeks ago.

Today was poking around in the engineering menu. My car does not have stock nav only with car play, but I found I do have a gps module

I was able to scan for it and successfully find it but under both coding options I can’t toggle nav on.

I did try changing my h/u from D to D+ which worked. After a power cycle I didn’t have a nav option in the infotainment but in the gauge cluster screen I now have a nav options saying needs a sd card for maps.

Switched back the original h/u setting and the gauge cluster option remains.

I can’t find a sd card slot location not the same as a gt1/2/S

I’m sure these topics have been beaten to death but is it possible for me to add the card and update and enable stock nav ?

I disabled the low battery discharge warning too.

Are there any other cool tweaks can add like adding the performance gauges ?

Thanks!

I'm driving a 22 but I never use the navigation. It's not that user friendly to load addresses into so I just use my phone. I wouldn't invest in it.
No SD card slot for me. It a USB port in the front of the console

I could never get it to go into engineering mode. Any tips or tricks?

Yeah doesn’t seem like I have a sd slot either

Was thinking Maybe by usd but idk. What’s weird is after switching back from d+ to d the original setting the nav option on cluster screen remains lol so idk how to remove that. Was able to turn off battery discharge warning thoD847E299-67B2-43C1-B9D9-F1A391BCA5FA.webp48D895AE-C6E9-4FB0-A741-ADF3825A7074.webp

What I did was 10 taps on the line left of the update button close to the bottom of the screen and 2 taps on bottom right corner, right of the update button. My pin was 260323B15811-1DA8-4ACC-8863-B4FBFF2BE45C.webp

The volume knob stuff didn’t work for me. Not sure if speed is a factor I’ve had it work fast and slow might have to play around with that. Heard some people can do 5 taps left one right but I couldn’t

Thanks but I can't get into engineer mode for nothing. Remember trying this a few months ago too. Something's got to be different on the 22 with the 10-in display
Where your white USB cable is plugged in is what you use for update on a flash drive
