• PLEASE! It is VERY important that this area is not used for the discussion of technical issues with your Stinger. This section is for posting about regional-specific things like Stinger clubs, events, local vendor or dealer recommendations, KiaStinger.com member sightings, etcetera... In other words, I do NOT want people to need to scour through several different sections to find answers about their heads up display. That's why there's a section dedicated specifically to discussions like that. THANK YOU!

It was mentioned in the Australian super thread and likely buried in the 80+ pages of messages....

I was also intially concerned as I'd likely be doing 15,000 KM a year. However, someone cleared it up by pointing out that the warranty on the vehicle remains at 7 years with unlimited KMs. However, the capped servicing costs would probably expire sooner with the 10,000 KM maintenance schedule.

I'm not sure Kia is being unfair here, it's likely just a more cautious approach for a high performance vehicle.

It’s always in the fine print they get you. I think if it’s good for one car it should be the same for all. Normally I only do the yearly service but with a turbo they recommend 6 month service as well. Either way it’s going to cost you more. I noticed that if you mod your car your service agreement is void.

If you refer to the service booklet it states that for petrol turbo engines the service intervals are 10,000kms all other petrol engines are 15,000kms. I also initially thought 7,500kms intervals but it states 10k...this is in the AU booklet anyway, cannot confirm for other countries.
