Just a quick question in regards to Use of 5mm Spacer without lip if anyone can enlighten me. Is it safe to use one in conjunction with a hubcentric ring if the spacer does not have a lip? also would I Need extended Lugs for a 5mm spacer?

probably ok on the bolt length, but you need a hub-centric spacer, so it sit's correctly against the car, and the wheel in turn is secured to the spacer, just as if it was on the car. I.E. the spacer also has a lip on it. Assuming it does have a lip on it, then using the hub-centric ring with aftermarket wheels should be no problem at all.

thanks for Response. The spacer does not have lip and I already have the hubcentric rings. I just wanted make sure it wouldn't cause any issues

Just to be clear, I'm no expert, just thinking out loud, but I think you should use a spacer with the hub "lip" built in, so that it keeps the hub-centric ring and wheel centered, and your not just using the lug bolts to keep the wheel centered. I think this warrants a call to a professional to discuss, if you are not totally sure. Any company that sells the spacers should be able to advise.

something like this is what I have in my mind as safe, although I have no experience with 5mm spacers so maybe they just don't come with lips on them as they are so slim.
