So far I have 2023 Stinger GT2 AWD with 225 miles I have a JB4 from my 2018, so far I have Plugs, KNN Typhoon, GFB Hybrid Dual BOV. What would you do next?

I have stock active exhaust but considering Ultimate Performance high-flow catted downpipe/mid-pipe combo kit, BMS intercooler, Trans cooler and WMI

Hey, also have a 2022 Kia Stinger GT2. I have only a JB4 and Eibach lowering springs. I eventually got the ultimate performance hfc and midpipe combo because I wanted to keep the valve. While it sounded good, my car somehow produced a very weird rattle. The rattle was so loud I could hear it while driving on the street with the windows down and just sounded like my car was broken. Not sure if it's because I had the stock exhaust still but seems like other people have not had this issue but everyone else usually does the hfc with an exhaust not stock. To me it sounded like the noise was coming from the turbo and I assumed maybe the wastegate was rattling. The sound is there even with the stock Cat but nowhere near as loud and can only hear it when revving with the hood open. Talked to two kia master techs who both own stingers and they told me its the high pressure fuel pump and the noise resonates with less cat material so something to keep in mind. Otherwise I lent my car out to Borla and they have an active exhaust coming out in about 3-4 months. If I could do any mod right now I would probably do an intercooler.

based on your current mods I’m thinking something for the exhaust to help get the extra air out you’re pushing in through your intakes.

I think there are several threads on here saying most don’t need an upgraded trans cooler unless you’re tracking the car. For that reason I don’t have one

I track my car monthly and drive long distances 1000 + miles and my transmission tunnel would always get super hot on my RWD that’s why the cooler is on my list. Yeah think exhaust is next thanks everyone.

2022 muffler is pretty awesome when the valve opens, and I’ve cut it open to confirm it’s pretty free flow at the EVC side. So for exhaust you’ll be happy with just secondaries and resonator delete or tork oval midpipe.

I’m not calling HFC a bad idea but the extra airflow might make stock EVC valves rattles badly at low rpm and idle when the valves are closed.

Yeah I like the sound I had magnaflow cat back on my 18 looking at Borla this time. They have a active version releasing in may they said
