I bought my 2022 Stinger GT1 two weeks ago and noticed when I bought it that there were no wheel locks included. So I thought it was no big deal I can just order some. Well none of the Kia parts sites had updated 2022 information just yet. I thought that the 2021 probably had the same wheel locks, but then again they are updated wheels and did not want to run the risk. I called one of the OEM Kia Parts sites to assist. They gave me the part # 00344 ADU00 after looking into that part # the wheel locks seem to be for the Kia Sedona. I was skeptical of course, but I finally received the wheel locks today. I just wanted to inform anyone looking for these that these do indeed fit the 2022 Stinger wheels. Just passing along the knowledge so you do not have to go digging for the information like I did.

Thanks for confirming. Mine didn't come with locks either.

For the most part they are useless to the professional thief, but are a decent deterrent to the avg schmuck on the street - unless they've wised up.

Picked up a set of 00344 ADU00 on ebay from a local guy for $20, new. Ironically these came with his mini van but were never installed. Will install them next time I rotate the tires.

I really don't understand why these are not standard. I mean lug thread pattern and hole design is usually consistent for a typical mfg/class of car. I understand trucks might use a larger diameter stud, but cars... should all be the same.

I've never had a vehicle come with wheel locks, including BMW. Wheels I've gotten from Tire Rack often have a much different socket-size than standard, so those are kind of doing the same thing. I'd think if wheel-locks were "standard"...then it would be easier to steal wheels with locks, since they'd be in much greater circulation.

I have had good experience with these:

Any wheel locks are better than nothing, but if security is paramount, it might be worth keeping in mind that OEM wheel locks supposedly only have a limited number of key patterns, and they are not that difficult to purchase online.

Even if this were not so, many standard wheel locks can be defeated quickly and cheaply by a determined thief... of course this also applies to service shops when the need arises, so that part can be considered a plus.

The locks I linked are unlike any others that I've seen, and should be much more difficult to defeat.

^^Except I don't see an application for a 22. For $15, I think the OE ones are a mild deterrent.

Thank you for this. Those look like a cone seat, is that correct?

No doubt, and thanks for pointing that out.

2020 up is the same but also looks like their data is wrong on the site as the oe wheels dont have conical seats they have mag type seats. You can probably just contact customer support for proper ones.

They are very accommodating and pleasant on the phone. I believe they are located somewhere in the mid-west U.S. and either have their own machine shop or work with local ones.

Lol those are normal lugnuts! The locks are probably on the car still.
That's exactly what I wrote the seller. Hasn't responded back. My conclusion... Can't fix stupid.

I'm not that worried about wheel theft to need $100 wheel locks. I do have insurance after all (with $0 ded. for comp). About the only time it's parked outside for any length of time is if I'm traveling, and even then, try to park near a light. With the death in the family and covid insanity, travels have been nil since 2018. I had mcgard (oe) wheels locks on the previous car with good results - (ratchet to remove and install, never impact).

Totally respect if the expensive locks are not worth it--personal choice. None of the Kia OEM wheels are probably going to be very hot on the market anyhow.

For me, rather than avoiding replacement cost, I'm trying to further insulate against the inconvenience of walking up to an inoperable car on blocks or whatever. Every time I drive nowadays is motivated by some purpose--sometimes with a child--so that's just something I don't care to deal with. Hopefully I never find out if the locks make a difference, but then again, I have spent more on spark plugs and light bulbs before.

I hear you. The general area here is relatively safe. Enough so that one can comfortably take a walk at 11pm without worries of getting mugged - can't say that about chicago proper.

I don't know about you, to me these wheels look border line hideous and eh.... Not to mention a nightmare to clean with the 15+ spokes. It's what came with the car. I'm very much a function over appearance person, so if they do get stolen, while a nuisance and hassle, I can get something more appealing. I wouldn't just buy new wheels for looks. They have to be a different size, lighter weight, etc..

Also, on the driver side, the K faces towards the rear. Brilliant design kia!
