Hey y'all. Has anyone swapped out their exhaust stock tips with the 2022 Kia Stinger version, they are much larger and more appealing Being larger I know modifications to bumper would be required. Challenge is probably finding the OEM parts on second hand market, I'm sure I'd have to sell a kidney to buy new from the dealership,

Thanks but not looking to replace the whole bumper. I'd assume someone is selling just the bolt on exhaust tips. Question is whether the bolt on holes would align with 2019 bumper. That also seems like an easy hurdle to overcome. The more concerning piece is Dremel cutting the outlet holes for the larger tips. Anyone know the oval size?

They will not align, and you will spend a significant amount more time trying to fit them in vs just swapping out the bumper with tips.

Reading is fundamental! I thought you were trying to swap out the 22 for the 18-21 style. Which I can see why you'd wanna do that. The 22 style are too large and are ugly imo. No stock car should be having fake tips or even real ones that are that big imo. Those tips belong on a car that is heavily modified imo. And don't get me started on the tiny real tip inside. At least the 18-21 do a better job of hiding the fake tip.

Well I'm wanting to change out the stock ones but if I do anything besides the oval design it will require modifications to the bumper. I like the bigger aggressive look on the 22 stinger, it naturally looks modified rather than the stock look on the 19. I've got a stillen cat back exhaust and want something other than stock look. Suggestions?

I went with high temp, gloss black engine paint to match the diffuser. I love the look....Inked20210704_012944138_iOS_LI.webp

I think that one of my MY18 tips is starting to get loose. How does one go about tightening them? Thanks.

If I remember correctly there's 2 screws, 1 above the tips and one below that attached them to the inside of the diffuser. I can't recall but you mayyyyy have to drop the muffler to access them. I know you have to drop the muffler to remove the tips, but I'm not 100% sure if you have to do that to get to the tip screws.

That looks great! Assuming you removed the stock tips and sprayed yourself using high temp automotive paint? What paint did you use and how has it held up?
Thanks man! Yeah I pulled the tips off, sanded them, primer, paint then clear coat. Whole process took a weekend afternoon and let them dry overnight. I’ve seen people on here who left the tips on and just masked off the surrounding areas. I wanted complete coverage so I removed them. Here’s the paint I used and they’ve held up great… over 2 years. Hope this helps

What about swapping the whole diffuser? Does the 2022 diffuser fit the 2019 rear bumper or are modifications needed?

I believe so... But the exhaust gap between tips is different.

I just had mine replaced from accident damage and the panel shop ordered in the wrong lower garnish where the tips were.

A 2019 bar with oval tips doesn't line up with 2022 tips and vice versa
