Long story short…mom caved and let me get this car (GT line 2022) but not the GT1 GT2 since I’d probably kill myself or be in jail for speeding. However I really like the OEMs of the G1 2022 and I want to know if I buy a set what specifically would I need to have in mind to make those work. I know my car is a squared set up with the tires and my rims are 18 inches and the ones I want are 19. So would I be able to use the tires that came with my car with these 19 inches rims or would I need to get new tires and is the anything else I would need to be aware before I waste my money.

Well, tires for a 19" wheel are not going to fit on an 18" wheel or visa versa. :P The 18" wheels have a higher sidewall but OD is close to the same as the higher aspect ratio tires on the 19" wheels.

Welcome to the forum.

So it’s sounding like I either get tires that are staggered like the gt1 if I want these rims and having a squared set up is out of the question? Sorry If I sound ridiculous my depth of knowledge is lacking to say the least

If you moved to the larger GT1/2 wheels, you get staggered. If you want that look of that wheel but want to be squared, you'll have to special order four of the wheel you pick, either the 8" wide or 8.5" wide. You'll then sell the 18" wheels and tires for the best you can get out of them: or save them for winter driving (depending on your weather, the OEM A/S tires should be fine; or replace them with winter/snow tires).

But know this: Kia's wheels are ridiculously priced. I priced a GT 19" wheel back in 2018 and each one was $630.

What is it about the 19" wheel that you like the look of? There's a good possibility that you could find an aftermarket wheel that looks similar, but is both cheaper and lighter than the stock wheels.

I like the bigger size and design. I’ve looked at aftermarket rims and saw some I like but I’m not that experienced with cars and the whole process of finding wheels, tires and offset of the tires stuff is making my head spin. So I thought the simpler option would be getting factory wheels I like plus I know the factory tire size from Kia already. I’d would just need to worry about offset at that point from what Ive gathered

Thank you for the reply. I really appreciate it

There is a listing for the stock wheels that went up today

I wouldn't buy from a dealer, lots of people change their wheels and have a spare set of OEM ones. I have a set of those exact ones you want but I'll probably just keep them to put back on if I ever sell the car. The resale value isn't that high so you could probably get a full set with tires easily for under $1000.

Yeah I’ve definitely been looking out for owners who want to sell there’s. Just need to find someone willing to ship and who isn’t on the other side of the country from me.
