USB stick synchronized with Windows Media Player lossless files. The good news is that the music sounds great.

The bad news is that the system is displaying songs on albums in alphabetical order instead of the proper order. The song files themselves (when you look on the stick) all start with a two-digit number, which would normally alphabetize automatically, as it does on the computer. What insane process is the car doing to remove the numbering and then resort to unwanted alphabetical listings? No one would ever want alphabetical song listings within an album. You either want the proper album or shuffle, in which case you don't care about the order.

iPod works as expected, in the proper order.

Is this happening for others, or just a quirk of something I am doing?

can anyone make some suggestions as to how I would improve the bass sound in my Stinger? I am open to a subwoofer box but I'm wondering if there is one that fits along the side panels in the back of the Stinger. I sell flooring so I need all of that length space to fit samples in the bacl? Thanks in advance for any/all suggestions!

There are 2 things that I heard that can help:
  1. I read somewhere that if the active engine sound is disabled, the subs under the front seats get disabled, so you'll want it on, but if you don't like it, minimized as much as possible without turning it off.
  2. If you can apply a mixer to your audio on your phone, that can help increase the bass. There was a thread about it on the boards.
